Big Ambitions Logistics Manager: Routes and Stock

Assign the manager at headquarters, connect the warehouse, add each destination and set product stock targets. The manager handles distribution; a Purchasing Agent or another supply source must first provide the goods.
Give the manager a complete route to operate
Begin at the headquarters and open the Logistics Manager plan. Verify the employee assignment and source warehouse, then check the vehicle and driver at that warehouse. Finally add the destination store and its products. A saved destination without usable source inventory is not yet a working supply route.
Treat the first store as a commissioning check. Choose an item already available in the warehouse and wanted at the shop, with enough receiving space for the refill. Record the starting quantities and inspect the result after the next internal delivery. This small check separates a configuration problem from the more complicated task of balancing a whole network.
Enter the stock you want the shop to retain
The March 2026 developer reply on warehouse Smart Delivery confirms that the route value is a destination target. If a shop needs 240 units in total and already holds 90, its nominal shortfall is 150. These are illustrative numbers, not recommended stock levels. The target itself must come from your own shop’s use and storage.
Choose a target that lasts until the next delivery, allowing for busier days. Revisit it when opening hours, product displays or sales change. A shop can run out even when its route operates correctly if you asked it to retain too little stock. Conversely, an oversized target can occupy space needed by other products.
Separate destination capacity from cargo space
The developer’s 2023 explanation describes one Logistics Manager per warehouse, with available destinations affected by the vehicle and manager’s skill. Before recruiting another manager for the same warehouse, inspect the current route limit. Training or a different delivery vehicle may address the limitation you actually face; current numbers and driver requirements belong in the live interface.
A September 2024 developer clarification also distinguishes automated deliveries from manually carried cargo: the stated limit was destinations, source inventory and receiving space, not a nightly unit cap based on the truck’s manual cargo. Treat that as dated guidance, and do not assume that buying a bigger truck will fix an empty warehouse or a full shop.
Read a shelf warning before rebuilding the route
Check whether the alert comes from logistics or from an individual sales display. In a May 2026 exchange, the developer traced repeated low-stock warnings to a target that could not fill all the shop’s drink fridges. Products were arriving, but the amount requested was insufficient for the collection of displays.
Inspect total stock across the relevant displays and storage, then compare it with the target. If one fixture is low while another holds the same product, first review that comparison. If the warehouse still holds the goods and the entire shop remains short, check the saved destination, product selection and free receiving space. Increasing the import order will not correct a destination that asks for too little.
Verify timing, then expand deliberately
The developer’s May 2026 timing explanation puts internal deliveries at 02:00 daily. Standard imports occur later, at 08:00 on Monday. Check the timestamp on a failed-delivery message before comparing it with today’s warehouse contents. The stock may have arrived after the route attempted its transfer.
For a repeat failure, preserve the warehouse, destination, item, target, employee assignments and exact warning. Check the latest official patch notes if several employee systems stopped together, and send a focused in-game bug report if the configuration still looks valid. Add further destinations only after the original shop receives the expected refill and remains supplied through a complete trading day.
